みなさん、こんにちは。いつもチェックしてくれてありがとうございます。今回のPEOPLISMは平内茉莉さんです。彼女のISMは「爪、常に派手主義」です。「人より派手にしている自信があります。シャバで働いてる人間でこのレベルは見たことないし、会社全体の派手爪レベルを底上げしてると自負しています。」と語ります。彼女の派手爪への思いを伺いましょう。
Q. 常に派手爪とのことですが、ISMの背景などがあるのでしょうか。
– そもそも爪がすごい弱くて。ジェルネイルをしたら爪を守れる、と思ったのが始まりかな。20歳くらいの頃に、洋服に差し色することの難しさに気が付いたんですけど、爪は洋服関係なく、単体で可愛くても良いってネイルを始めてから気が付いて。あとはデスクワークだから、爪が可愛いとテンションが上がりますよね。ネイルを変えると話題作りになるから、そういう良い側面もあると思います。
Q. 会社内での話題作りにもなるんですね。
– 今って、見た目に対する指摘ができないじゃないですか。髪とかバッサリ切っても誰も言ってくれない。だけど、爪だと「爪すごいね！」ってみんな言ってくれるんです。髪だと似合う、似合わないがあるから、少し言い出しにくいかもしれないけど、爪はそういうのがない。ここまで派手にしていると表現の一種と捉えてくれるんですよね。
Q. ネイルを変える時は、何かからインスパイアを受けているのでしょうか。
– ネイルのデザインは決めていかないので、その時のバイブスで決めています。おとなしいネイルにしようと思ってお店に向かうんですけど、私はバカなので、可愛いネイルチップとかがあると、後先考えずに乗せています。担当のネイリストさんが高校の友達で、彼女がいつもすごい爪をしているんです。だからあれもこれも！ってなってしまって、どんどん派手になる。毎回それを繰り返しています。
Q. 企業や業種によってはネイルも厳しかったりしますよね。
– 本当に派手爪がダメな企業とかだったら辞められると思います。ただ派手爪は可愛いんですけどね。

I’ve never seen this level of flashiness in a company, I’m proud to say that I’m raising the level of flashy nails in the entire company,” she says. Let’s hear her thoughts on flashy nails.
Q. You mentioned that you always have flashy nails, do you have a background in ISM?
– To begin with, I have weak nails. So I guess it all started when I thought that gel nails would protect my nails. When I was about 20 years old, I realized how difficult it was to add color to clothes, but after I started getting my nails done, I realized that nails can be pretty on their own, regardless of the clothes. I also work at a desk, so I get more excited when my nails are pretty. Changing my nails also creates a buzz, so I think that’s a good aspect of it.
Q. It’s a good way to create a buzz within the company.
– Nowadays, you can’t point out what someone looks like. If I cut off my hair or something, no one would say anything. But when it comes to my nails, everyone says, “Your nails look amazing!” With hair, there are certain things that look good and don’t look good, so it may be a little difficult to say, but with nails, there is no such thing. If you are this flamboyant, people see it as a kind of expression.
Q. When you change your nails, what inspires you?
– When I change my nails, I don’t go with a specific design, I just go with my mood at the time. Every time I head to the nail salon to get my nails done, I try to keep it calm, but I’m a silly person, so when I see a cute nail tip or something, I add it without second thoughts. The manicurist in charge is a friend of mine from high school and she always has amazing nails. So I end up adding this and that, so they get more and more flashy. I repeat that every time.
Q. Some companies or industries are strict about nails, aren’t they?
– If a company really doesn’t allow flashy nails, I think I can quit. However, flashy nails are cute.
Lastly, we asked Hirauchi-san about his latest favorite song.

She said, “The appeal of this song is that it is the best looking despite the fact that it has only a few notes. It’s the exact opposite of my nails.”
