みなさん、こんにちは。今回のPEOPLISMは鈴木皓汰さんです。
彼のISMは「レジ係さんに質問をさせない主義」とのこと。「レジ袋はいるか、ワインは包むか、レシートはいるか、そういう普遍的な質問は先に答えるようにしてます。」と彼は語ります。彼のISMを詳しく聞いてみましょう。
Q. このISMの背景や理由があれば、教えてください。
‐ 来るとわかっている質問を待ち受けるメンタルが私にはなくて。自分自身でもこのISMには最近気が付きました。
Q. なるほど。何かエピソードはありますか？
– 普段よく行くスーパーがあって、会計時に質問されることは把握しています。そのスーパーのレジの特徴は、PayPayのスキャン箇所がわかりづらいこと。私はスキャン箇所もわかっていたので、事前に準備していたのですが、新しいアルバイトの方から「PayPayはこちらになります。」って言われてしまったんです。準備していたにも関わらず、間に合わなかった。非常に申し訳ない気持ちになりました。常連にも関わらず、言わせてしまったと。
Q. 店員さんから、どんな質問が来るかわからない時は？
– レシート、レジ袋といった普遍的な質問は答えますが、お店特有のものは受け止めるしかないですよね。次から気を付けます、という気持ちです。

Q. Any background or reason for this ISM?
– I don’t have the mentality to wait for questions that I know are coming. I recently noticed this ISM myself.
Q. Is there any episodes about this?
– There is a supermarket that I usually go to and I know what questions to ask at checkout. One of the features of the cash register at that supermarket is that it is difficult to find the PayPay scanning point. I knew where to scan and had prepared in advance, but a new part-time worker told me, “PayPay is over here.” Even though I had prepared for it, I couldn’t make it in time. I felt very sorry. Even though I was a regular customer, I was made him to say so.
Q. What if you don’t know what kind of questions you will get from the cashiers?
– I answer universal questions such as receipts one and plastic bags one, but I have to accept those store-specific questions. I always feel that I will be careful next time.
