いつもPEOPLISMを見てくださっている皆さん、こんにちは。
そしてあけましておめでとうございます。
何よりもまず、2024年が皆さんにとって素敵な1年になりますように。
さて、2023年末から立ち上げたPEOPLISM、3名のismを紹介してきました。
とても素敵な企画になるのではないか、そんな気がしています。
この先PEOPLISMがどうなるかは、私たちにもわかりません。
完全に未知数。だからこそ、ワクワクします。
まだ立ち上げから短い期間ではありますが、インタビュー中で
私が感じたことを、この場を借りてお伝えできればと思います。
それは人々の中にある「細部」という存在です。
昨今の社会では「人をカテゴライズする」ことがしばしばあります。
例えば、人種や国籍、性別、信条、さらには学歴や職種、
血液型やMBTI診断といったものなども挙げられそうです。
ここでは、人をカテゴライズすることの善し悪しを説きたいのでありません。
ただ、インタビューをする中で、上述したようなカテゴリーで
人を判断しすぎなのではないかなと、ふと感じました。
背景には、旧知の友人でさえ、インタビューを通して意外な一面を見ることが
できたことがあります。自分でも気が付かないうちに、ひどく相手の表面的な
部分ばかり見ていたかもしれません。
「その人を知りたければその人が何に対して怒りを感じるかを知れ。」
HUNTER×HUNTERの主人公ゴンが大切にしている言葉です。
これも突き詰めれば同じ、「細部」のことを言っていると考えています。
PEOPLISMはその「細部」にフォーカスを当てたい。
一見すると「ism」という言葉と乖離しているようですが、
実はどこかで繋がっているのではないか、その答えは急ぎません。
そんなことを思いながら、PEOPLISMは2024年もやっていきます。
一緒に素晴らしい場所を作り上げていきましょう。

Hi, everyone who are always watching PEOPLISM.
And HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!
At First, we wish 2024 will be great year for all of you guys.
Well, we have launched PEOPLISM at the end of 2023,
and introduced three people and isms.
I have a feeling that this will be a very nice project.
Nobody knows what will happen to PEOPLISM in the future.
It is completely unknown. That is why we are excited.
Although it has only been a short time since the launch,
we would like to share with you what we have felt through interviews.
It’s the [Details] in people.
In today’s society, we often [categorize people] .
LIke, race and nationality, gender, creed,
and even education, occupation, blood type, MBTI diagnosis, and so on.
I don’t wanna preach the right or wrong of categorizing people.
However, through interviews, I suddenly felt that we may be judging people too much based on the categories mentioned above.
In the background, I have been able to see an unexpected side of even old friends through interviews. I may have been looking only at the superficial aspects of the other person without even realizing it.
”If you want to know a person, find out what makes them angry.”
It is a word that Gon, the main character in “HUNTER x HUNTER,” holds dear.
I believe this also refers to the same thing when you get down to it, “details”.
PEOPLISM wants to focus on that “details”.
At first glance, it seems to diverge from the word “ism”,
In fact, they may be connected somewhere, and we are not in a hurry to answer that question.
With this in mind, PEOPLISM will continue to do so in 2024.
